Why there's no one flat rate
When people ask about mini excavator rental, they often want an exact number over the phone - but construction jobs vary too much for a single universal rate to mean anything. Two holes of the same size can take completely different time and effort depending on the actual conditions.
What affects the price
- Type and scope of work - digging a foundation, running a trench, or grading a yard each demand different time and equipment load.
- Duration - an hourly rate suits small jobs better, while a daily rate is usually more economical for multi-day projects.
- Location and access - working in a tight courtyard in central Tbilisi is different from an open lot, and so is travel to the regions (Mtskheta, Rustavi, Gori).
- Soil type - dense clay or rocky ground takes more time and effort than soft soil.
- Extra needs - hauling away the excavated soil, additional attachments, or extended working hours also affect the final cost.
